Branding
I have a big passion for developing and delivering strategy-led, effective brand identities. Throughout my career, I have continued to learn and develop my approach and understanding of brand development, leaning on new processes and software in order to effect and enhance the overall brand experience.

HelloReport
A game-changing SaaS company created for Estate Agents and Landlords to digitally collate, store and report property inventories were looking to explore a rebrand to push the product onto the next level.
The purpose of this rebrand was to create an identity that would align with the strength of the product itself and help position the brand as an ambitious and reputable tech offering.
The green colour was retained in the primary palette as a link back to the positive use of this within the UI of the software, green representing both "excellent condition" and an agreed report between the Estate Agent/Landlord and Tenant.
The logomark is made up of a simple and recognisable piece of linework that's set within a vibrant green roundel which evokes a sense of positivity and links back to the palette used through the UI of the software.
Drey Finance
Identity Development / Messaging / UX / UI / Illustration
Drey is a start-up that provides users with a dedicated Bitcoin-focused platform, offering a lifetime income stream immune to inflationary and longevity risks. The brief from the team was to create a distinctive and dynamic identity that would mirror their ambitions for their new SaaS product.
The marketing team had already decided on the brand name, "Drey", which is a squirrel’s nest. A place where a squirrel would store its food (acorns), for the future.
This concept linking back to pensions provided a strong foundation to build the identity.

For over 200 years the Sikkens Wood Coatings brand has been a key player within the realm of industrial wood coatings.
A brand that has stood the test of time, Sikkens Wood Coatings is synonymous with quality, expertise, passion and creativity. Maintaining a reputation for building strong partnerships, the brand continues to innovate and develop a market-leading product range, however, a need for stronger impact, alongside the introduction of an additional product range, called for a strengthening of the branding to align the identity with the strategy and vision, moving forward.
From strategy through to delivery of a vast range of touchpoints, I was proud to lead a project of this scale from start to finish.
Gunsgreen House
Identity Development / Messaging / UX/UI
A well-known historic landmark situated in the quiet fishing town of Eyemouth looked to capture the essence of their heritage within a new identity.
Gunsgreen House was built between 1752 and 1754 by John Nisbet, an Eyemouth merchant, who like many people within the Borders of Scotland, led a double life as an apparently respectable member of society but also a notorious smuggler. It's this controversial history that inspired this rebrand.
The result is a distinctive, coherent identity formed around the idea of contrasts inspired by the "above and below" of the house with the intention of striking the balance of leaning on its heritage whilst presenting itself as a contemporary place, at which to visit, rest and celebrate.
The logomark reflects the distinctive characteristics of the house and surrounding area whilst also subtly highlighting the aspect of the underground cellars through the inclusion of downward pointing arrows. Representing both the above and below-ground of Gunsgreen.
