Hi, and thanks for visiting.
My name’s Karl Bell, a Graphic Designer/Creative Director from the North East of England with over 18 years industry experience.
My experience spans across a wide range of disciplines as a creative. With a strong focus and passion for strategy-led branding, my approach to projects is built around problem-solving.
From the initial discovery phase, through to the output and delivery of all kinds of branded touchpoints (digital, print and environmental), I can add value every step of the way.
From my early days as a young designer, I was fortunate to be handed a lot of responsibility within the roles I had which provided me with a great deal of experience in working with clients and partners and building long-lasting professional relationships.
Whether a client is a start-up, SME or multi-national organisation, I have a wealth of experience helping companies and brands of all shapes and sizes, creating identities for new and ambitious SaaS businesses, through to delivering two-year-long full rebrand projects for a 200-year-plus industry leader. I'm also proud to have had my work featured on some of the creative industries’ most recognised online platforms such as DesignWeek and Brand New (Under Consideration). I believe in thought-led design to develop creative solutions that deliver real results.
Outside of my working life I'm married with two young children. I faithfully follow my football team, Newcastle United (thus the black and white colour theme) and enjoy cycling, running, cooking, art and music. I also like to offer my free time when possible to help organisations or individuals such as charities, non-profits and social enterprises. I’m also an active member of the Creative Advisory Board at Newcastle College.
